Details

The idea for Logoworks was born when founder Morgan Lynch experienced great frustration in working with a design agency to create a logo. After countless revisions and delays, with additional fees mounting, Lynch set out to find a better way—and in 2001 Logoworks was founded. In 2007, Logoworks was acquired by Hewlett-Packard.

Lynch’s unfortunate experience inspired Logoworks’s unique process. You choose the design package you want, then complete a “creative brief” which helps you convey your business and vision. Then multiple designers create various concepts for your logo within three days. You choose your favorite concept, and revisions are finished within two days. One day after your approval, your final logo is available for download, plus you’ll receive a CD containing all the files in the mail.

Logoworks also offers some unique services and tools to help you along the way. Customer service reps will help you choose the package that’s best for your unique needs. Once you have chosen a package, an account rep is assigned to you to guide you through the process, though given that Logoworks touts an all-online process, it’s not clear how and when the account rep gets involved. There are plenty of useful resources at their website that help you understand what makes a good logo and how to make your logo work for you. If you’re having trouble choosing which concept is best for you, you can use their online voting tool to solicit the opinions of your friends, co-workers, and stakeholders.

Given that Logoworks is the largest service, and uses many freelance designers in addition to its in-house team, there is apt to be a wider variation of design quality, good and bad.  On the flip side, Logoworks does assign multiple designers to produce concepts for each customer, and offers a satisfaction guarantee.

Other Services

Logoworks offers additional logo design packages that also include business cards, letterhead, and envelopes, as well as a full suite of marketing and website design services.

    Rated: /5 logoworks.
I was one of their clients, and they did a logo for me… one thing i can say - “Stay away from those people!” in my case all logos was terrible! they did 7 horrible logos, 6 of them was not even what i asked… than i choose one logo to revision, every revision takes 3-7 days and the most frustrating this- they didn’t do what i was asking!!! at each revision they added one little thing and let me wait for two months! at the end i downloaded photoshop and did it by myself.
so if someone from logoworks are reading this - Fu*k you and go to hell!

Rated: /5 I had a pretty decent experience with LogoWorks. They gave me four initial designs, two of which I was happy enough with to pursue, though I was only allowed to choose one concept to develop. I asked for some changes and we went back and forth a couple of times to get to my final logo. Each time I asked for revisions, I got them back within a day and the entire process took less than a week. The end product is quite adequate and I feel like I got my money's worth (I spent $299 altogether).
